Born and raised in New York City, Iqra fell in love with photography ten years ago as a way of seeing and exploring the world of human experiences. She likes to read fiction and poetry, and enjoys expanding her perspective through travel. Her most rewarding trip to date was to Ghana with the nonprofit organization African Health Now, to volunteer and document the NGO’s efforts to improve access to maternal healthcare at Madina Polyclinic Kekele in Accra.
